When do I need a Confirmation ID?
You need a Confirmation ID whenever you activate Microsoft Office (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, or 2024) or Windows (7, 8, 10, or 11) by phone — typically when online activation fails, when you reinstall on the same machine, or when you bought a phone-activation license. Microsoft 365 subscriptions do not use a CID; they sign in online instead.
Where do I find my Installation ID in Microsoft Office?
Open any Office app, go to File → Account → Activate Product → I want to activate the software by telephone. The activation wizard displays your 63-digit Installation ID in nine groups labelled A through G. Copy the digits exactly and paste them into the form above.
Where do I find my Installation ID in Windows?
Press Windows + R, type slui.exe 4, then press Enter. Choose your country and the activation wizard shows your Installation ID. The same flow works on Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11.
Where can I find my Tempcode?
Your Tempcode is included in the order confirmation email we sent to the address you used at checkout — printed right next to your product key. If you cannot find it, contact our support team and we will resend it.
Is this Confirmation ID service free?

Does the CID generator work for all Microsoft products?
It works for Microsoft Office (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2024), Office Standard and Professional Plus editions, Project, Visio, and Windows (7, 8, 10, 11). It does not generate codes for Microsoft 365 subscriptions, which activate through online sign-in rather than telephone activation.

The most common cause is a mistyped Installation ID. Re-check every digit in groups A through G, then try again. If the wizard reports the key was already activated too many times, your license may need a manual review — contact our support team and we will investigate.
